Help how can i change my screen resolution?

I shut down my computer wrong now it stuck really small and its so small i can't get to the start menu to go to control panel to change screen res help please.

right click on the desktop and select properties > settings and use the slider to lower the resolution

does your video card support the screen res that you want?

reinstall the driver of your video card - either install the software or go to control panel> system> hardware tab> device manager, and update the driver from there; then restart and set res from display properties

if this does not work, try opening your cpu, remove your video card, clean its contact and put it back again. then try to reinstall driver again

if it still fails, replace your video card, there might be a problem with it.

log on in safe mode and try changing the settings. else try loading last known good configuration.
