Help! how do i get soda stain out of the side of a book?!?

help! i work at a library and i just started. i took a book out and put it in my purse. i had a soda in there too and i made sure it was closed good but it still leaked and the edges of the book got stained. what can i do to get it out?!

try taking a bit of rubbing alcohol to a cotton swab and gently dab it on the book. That's what I'd do. Good luck

well, if it's still wet try some kind of stain remover?

when you think you've got as much of it out as you can, leave it in a well-ventilated place to dry out.

not too hot though, or the pages will curl.

if the pages do curl, iron them out?

& if the worst comes to the worst, buy a new book and apologize?

it'll at least make you seem considerate and thoughtful.
