Help! how do you put music in your ipod touch?

please i just got one, and i can't understand how to put music into it.

i mean i downloaded it on LimeWire. and them moved it into iTunes but it doesn't show up in the ipod.

please help! step by step instructions would be very helpful [:

make the limewire page a bit smaller as well as itunes...

(so you can see both at once)

highlight the songs you downloaded from limewire and drag it to itunes songs folder...

wait for the arrow with the cross sign to appear...

itunes will then sync the songs and ur done...

hope this helps! :)

and if u want to put movies... only download mp4 movies in limewire so its easier... (itunes only accept mp4 for movies)

hahah ill tell you anyway. :)

i dont have a touch, but i have a nano, and i think there the same with putting music on them.

well, first you need to import the songs you got off limewire into itunes, just select them all. then drag them into itunes..

the un check the check boxes next to each song you dont want to put on your ipod..

then plug your ipod in with the cable.

it should come up on the left under devices, click it.

then it should come up with a picture of your ipod and info..

in the bottom right hand corner of that, click 'sync'

and thats it. :)

Okay basically all you do is download iTunes from here if you don't already have iTunes...

(that link is for Mac + PC)

Put all your songs onto that itunes.

Connect your iPod to your computer.

when it comes up complete the step by step processes, you will get to a stage where it asks you whether you want to automatically sync songs or whatever, untick them.

Then, there should be a 'General' tab showing a pic of your ipod and info.

Tick the bottom one of the three tick boxes below called,

'Manually manage music and videos'

The hit apply at the bottom right hand corner.

Wait for it and drag and drop what ever compatible media files there you have!
