  1. a good dry cleaners

Oh just use the tide pen or

    oxiclean instant cleaner

or oxiclean dissolved in wam water and soak it.

If the cleaners could not remove it then I would soak it.

I sent a 26 year old baby dress that has value to two cleaners and they could not get the yellowing from age out of the white lace,

I soaked it in oxiclean powder dissolved in warm water for two days and it came out white and the pink came out bright as new.  Needless to say I saved the dress!!!

I also got hair dye out of a nightgown by soaking it in oxiclean. I got black mold out of a baby blanket this way also.

  2. try this. may it can work for you

Haldi or turmeric stains are difficult to remove but not impossible. After washing the stain with soap, 60 % of the stain is removed. Apply talcum powder on the stained area after you have washed it to prevent the stain from getting stronger.

Alternatively, apply a paste of lemon and baking soda on the stained area and wash it off. This will help remove the turmeric stains from the fabric and on your hands. Applying skin bleach also helps.

  3. Hi

its  late but you can try remove the stains with bleaching powder and the results will appear in few washings.

But in general if you get haldi stains don't panic and try to remove it immediately with water because water makes the stains permanent.

Let the stain be there and apply any liquid detergent (utensils) on it directly and rub it for few minutes and put it in your wash and dry in the sun they will disappear.

I own a restaurant and I know that works.

  4. Take 1/4th cup of rubbing alcohol, 1/2 cup of water and a few drops of dish detergent, pour a little on the stain, wait a few minutes and then gently rub.rinse and repeat.

    Hope that helps.
