  1. remain calm, it`s natural to be nevous, remember against a boxer you always have a punchers chance, try to fell him out the first round, for the second round if your the bigger man, try workin the body, DONT FORGET THE JAB, THE JAB IS YOUR MOST IMPORTANT WEAPON! THROW THAT ************, I FORGOT THAT MY 2ND FIGHT AND LOST JABS SET UP POWERSHOTS, DONT FORGET IT and most importantly, if think hes better than you, **** THAT, MAKE HIM FIGHT YOUR FIGHT!!!!! SHOW HIM YOU CAN COMPETE JUST AS WELL AS ANYONE, oh yeah jab, jab, jab,

  2. Yeah, stay the h**l out of the ring.

  3. dont be to much agressive just take your time and land clean punches and body blows damage too. if yur to much agressive you will miss more punches and it will tire you through out the fight. just look for openings and if you think that you got your opponent going to the canvas land combinations. when he is feeling that he is about to go to the canvas he will defend more and it will give you more oppurtunities to land combinations.

i hope this helps.. i already have box 10 times and my record is 9-1 (in amatuer) with 7 wins via KO/TKO..  i did this tips that i gave you and i was able to get a TKO when i landed about 10-15 shots undefended.

  4. Talk to your trainer for advice and strategy if he cant help you, train under someone else if you have never boxed you need experience in your corner....don't let the occasion get to you enjoy it

  5. Try to find out what type of boxer he is, is he technical fighter, a brawler. Get as much info on how he fights a possible. Other than that you have to get off your jab before he does. This will disrupt him and hopefully keep him off his gameplan.

  6. yeah try to stay out of the fight if you can.  You'll need to stay on your toes and don't leave yourself open.  He'll probably rush you to keep you off balance and disoriented.  Try to stay calm.  Keep your hands up.  Keep him at a distance.  You can be the strongest guy in the world and it wont matter if youd dont know how to fight.  Try to keep focus.  Like others have said.  Your Jaw and your abs. Jaw will knock you out.  abs will tire you out.

  7. if he's actually into boxing and not streetfighting make sure to protect your jaw, he'll be going for that. keep your elbows tucked in to protect your abdomen/solar plexus. and try not to get yourself into such a stupid situation in the future.  :)

  8. Since you have a height advantage do not let him move in close to you.  Hit him from a distance since you have the longer arms.

But if you have never boxed before and he has i would advice not boxing at all with this fella.  Boxing is all about tolerating and protecting yourself from severe body blows and usually experienced boxers have a HUGE advantage.

    Good Luck...

  9. use your height and longer arms to your advantage. keep your jab steady and fast. when he moves in step back and throw a jab. your jab will be the most important tool you have. it will be good for defense and good for setting up your hard strait right. sucker him with the jab and let him come in a little bit but not too much so you don't get tangled up and land that strait right directly in his face.

  10. bob and weave, dont let him hit you, let him miss and then get him good a couple of times

  11. what you need to do is stay far from him because you have longer reach. Dont let him get close to you to where he can hit you, just keep throwing jabs and combos and you do good. he will stay away like that because he has shorter arms i suppose.

  12. I was trained by mike Tyson's trainer for boxing and kick boxing. You said you have a height advantage so you want to keep him away. you will probably have a longer reach so you can swing from farther out. swing fast and hard. BUT DON'T LEAVE YOURSELF OPEN FOR A COUNTER ATTACK.

    GOOD LUCK
