  1. take the line from holes top to bottom and tie a little double-knot in the spool and start reeling and if you get stuck take it to a fishing section and they will spin it for you, but be careful on your own spinning reels get tangled quickly.

  2. tie the line to the real and make a knot on it then have a fried help u put the rest of the line onto a rench or somrthin and have him hild it and then real it in also coded wire leaders are good and top water lures are good to get ther aboyr 5-15 dollers and get them little lures that look like little metal fish thos come in diff size to jsut cast and real in u can catch small 7-12 inch fish with those

  3. Tie the string to your fishing reel spool

Put a pencil or pen in the center hole of the spool of string you bought from the store

Put the pencil with the store spool between your knee's

Lightly grasp the string near the reel and reel on the amount of string you want to use.

  4. First of all I should say that you SHOULD NOT do the pencil thing for spooling either a spincast or a spinning reel or you will be putting the line on very twisted..you will end up with more tangles than I'd care to imagine and thats not a good start to a new hobby..Take FISH STEEL's advice and check out the links he provided..they will get you started off on the correct path and you will enjoy the sport much more. Then check out this site and learn to tie some dependable knots.

  5. If you are actually asking how to put your line on, take the end of your new line direct from the spool, thread it through the eyelets of your rod,  and tie it onto the reel using a knot that will not slip.  Have someone hold the new spool of line by putting (for example) a pencil through the hole in the middle so that it will rotate as you work the reel.  have the person use their thumb to put some resistance on the spool as you reel it on, thus you avoid having your line too loose, which could cause problems as you fish.  When you have enough line on (nearly but not quite full reel), stop the process, close your reel, cut the line, make a looping knot, attach you clip, and that should do it.

  6. This 1st link be from the Shakespeare site for a Spincast and has some text on repalcin' line. 2nd one is in the PDF Format and gives ya' a little more detailed information (page 7). A Spincast is somewhat similiar to a spinning reel as far as puttin' line on with the exception that the Spincast has it's line inclosed under the cap/cone and the Spinning/open-faced uses a Bail for line retieving. Hope it helps some ;)... < ' ( (( > <
