but one day while i was sleeping i noticed that i had a bump that kinda looked a pimple or a mosquito bite but it was a little bit hard and also it was sort of black in the middle i was so scared i woke up my mom and told her to check she tried to pop it and she said white puss came out. i tried to relax but today i found another bump like that, this one was black-ish blue-ish.

im really scared my mom just said its probably a pimple or something but im really scared its a tick bite

  1. No but you can get lime disease from it which can eventually lead to death. It sounds like it could be a spider bite too. Deffinitely get it checked out.

  2. I can't tell you the answer as to what the bite is, but most doctors have nurses who will call you back on questions like that, and they don't try to embarrass you. Now, if the "bites" are just on your face, they may be blackheads, but popping them is not a good idea. I wouldn't pop them no matter what. It tends to scar.

You also might check with neighbors. They might know what insects are in your area, and they might have gotten bites like yours, too.

I have never heard of a tick bite killing anyone. The tick also latches on, and it is squishy and wiggly. You can tell something is attached to you. That is not what it sounds like. Spider bites can be deadly (but not usually), but when you get one which is serious, It often makes a red line going up your leg or arm, because of blood poisoning. It usually aches, and is very painful, after a while. What you are describing really doesn't sound like a Brown Recluse bite (the one I just described) or anything, so... If you do ever get that red line, call the doc immediately. The bite needs to have extreme heat put on it, to draw out the poison, and the doc will tell you what to do. I can't tell you what to do about other serious spider bites, as I haven't gotten them before.

Don't be afraid to ask around (including the doc).

Also, a bit of advice...cut the grass around your yard, as that will deter some of the insects, and check into other things you might be able to do. A plant nursey is a good place to get free advice on things like that. Wish the best for you!
