Help i am sore my teeth!!!

Well I just got my spacer's on my teeth...

they hurt like h**l and my tmj is worse then ever and I am doing everything for the pain is there anything else I can do besides a d**n ice pack? i am on med's

Ok, I've been there so I know how it feels hun.

Spacers where like the worst part of have braces. There really isn't much you can do. Advil always seemed to work a ton better than that crappy Tylenol 3 they give you. Possibly try some Oragel. Also if you press your tongue to the roof of your mouth is makes the pain stop for like a second of relief. Sorry I know that doesn't do much, but like I already said...there isn't much you can do. <3

it wont hurt to abuse your meds a little bit if you are still in an extreme amount of pain.  just dont take my advice and end up getting addicted!

LOL i just got spacers off my top jaw and got braces on about a week ago

but they put in spaces on my bottom jaw

The pain'll go away within a week. For the time being, eat soft things such as jello, pudding, etc.

Take pain relievers. Good luck.

Or toughen up, that's what I had to do.

Just keep your mind off of it and eat soft foods.

If you are on pain med's, and those and the ice aren't help, but a call into your dentis/ortho. and see what they suggest. Sorry you in agony!

drink a milkshake ( like make one with ice cream milk and ice) it will numb your gums and it wont hurt as much

Other than taking pills there is not much else you can do. Stick to a solid liquid diet if at all possible. Ice, of course....but switch it up with a slurpee. Try to get a lot of rest...did I mention pain meds?

My spacers hurt really bad too. Thankfully, braces were a piece of cake. Feel better!

got any sore throat spray? you know like chloroseptic? that can help, ambejel also works.

The pain won't last more than a day, 2 at the most.  There really isn't a lot more you can do at this point.
