okay. our air conditioner is broken. But even before it was broken we kept it at 82-83 all day and night because we have poor insulation and our electric bills were through the roof! But even then I got EXTREMELY hot at night. so now our ac is busted and its maybe 10 degrees hotter in our house. But at like 2-4pm, the heat of the day, I don't sweat. However, I'll go into my room at night to sleep and I'll start sweating like crazy and hyperventilating and I find it impossible to get comfortable! I keep both my windows open and I have my overhead fan on at all times. I cant put standing fans in my room, because I cant sleep with white noise. But during the day, when the sun is actually up, my room is nice and cool.

I sleep naked with a thin sheet, so I'm not covered up too much, but I don't get it!

I'm only 14 so I KNOW its not menopause.

School is coming up in like a week so I need to figure this out quick before finally crashing at 3-4am interferes with my grades!

Are these night sweats? are there any over the counter meds for that?

help!

I've been lying in my bed for 3 1/2 hours!!!!!

  2. hey guess what

ive been laying in bed since 10 frikin pm.  ive been tryin to sleep for over 6 hours now. Thats with a sleeping pill.

So yeah, I pretty much have the same thing as you.  Night Sweats.  Theyre caused by anxiety.  Of course, im a hypocrite to say thiis but keep your mind off school, thats what it is.  At least you have a chance at going to sleep tonight I hear voices and thats mainly whats keepin me up ;)

  3. I am really surprised. but you need to think whether you have been always like that or is this something new? , if this condition is fairly new then you need to think what changed in your daily habbits , you need to ask your self questions like :

    - what type of medications am i taking lately ?

    - have I made any changes in my diet? ( tip: check if you are consuming spicy foods)

    - have i gained a lot of weight or changed my exercise (increased or decreased it)

    - am i being overly exposed to the sun light during day time ( this could be heat stored in ur body)

    - am i drinking enough water during the day ( dehydration can mke yuo feel hot)

    - PMS could have somthing to do with it ( if you are ovulating )

    - am i being overly stressed or anxious ( when you are stressed you get easily irritated and slight heat can be exaggerated by your nervous system and make you feel like it is so d**n hot..

finally if the reason is not that obvious maybe you should check with GP (Gneral practitioner of medicine)
