Help! i cleaned my pool filter and refilled it, then sealed it up and drained the air out of it. problem is..?

problem is that the filter isnt working now. there is no suction and it is not sucking water from out of the pool. any help please...

Does the pump need priming (filling with water)?  Did you grease all the gaskets?

Close your skimmer valve, and prime your pump, when your water starts flowing good, open up your skimmer valve slowly until its flowing properly.

It will take a long time if the pump has 2 or more pipes to get suctions from.Usually you want to start with the main drain, the one on the bottom of your pool.
