  1. I don't have an answer, but I am curious to read what others might advise you in this case. It sounds just awful.

  2. i used to own 2 hermits, i think this might have happened to me, but its possible the other hermit crabs did it, at least, that was my suspicion at the time...

  3. Um, sounds like either he battled with the other four or he's molting. It's a natural process. Don't kill him yet till you're sure. I recommend doing some more research or taking him to a specialist.

  4. Omg that's horrible!! I'm sorry to hear that, but it doesn't sound good, how is he going to "walk" to his food and water.....? that would be my main concern, i don't think he will be able to eat and stuff to survive.  Good Luck!

  5. they obviously don't have enough to eat and no water...

    a cage?

he will die with all those limbs gone..sorry

  6. :( thats horrible

i think it fought with the other crabs

  7. well if they're all gone, hes as good as dead. If he's missing one, he's fine. One of the other crabs is too aggressive. Set up a little camera to find out which one it is, get rid of it.
