Help? i have a unit test day after tomorrow and i cant even concentrate.?

Question

i have a test day after on social studies and i am unable to concentrate and remember anything i studied. i have civics and economics left. can you tell me better methods of studying other than memorizing?

how do you normally prepare for your tests/ exams?

Write in dot points everything important, theres no need in memorizing everything if you do this.

Summarize what your learning in your own words so that it becomes easier to remember and relate to.

Then relax by listening to some music, don't stress just make your self comfortable and sleep early.

i think it is hard for you to study cause you have too many distractions.go into a quiet room by yourself and pull up the window shades and relax after tht get a glass of water just in case you get thirsty then you wont have to get  up and get a glass of water and get distracted. then sit on a chair and get all the things you need to study with on the desk. you shouldnt study on the floor or bed for some reason. it should be easier to study then. if you cant just look at words and memorize them then use flashcards and test yourself or make a practice test. you can even pretend to be the teacher cause instead of teaching the pretend students you could really be teaching yourself. hope i helped!!:)

You have too much anxiety, and you too worried about your problems.  Take a break, get some exercise, go to the beach, get a massage, take your mind off of this.  You have anticipatory anxiety, which creates a cycle.  When you break the cycle, you will think more clearly, you can study more efficiently, and you will be relaxed when you test comes.

-write down what you think you might need to know

-have someone else study with you

-have someone quiz you

-play review games on the internet

-go somewhere quiet so  you can focus
