Help i have a wrapping paper dilemma!!??

its a little after 1 in the morning, and tomorrow my mom is dropping me off at my friends and im giving her a present (birthday). the problem is, i found a gift bag 2 put it in, but i have none of that colorful tissue paper u use to stuff the bag. i dont have time to stop at a store on the way there. my mom has 2 be at work on time, and we cant leave the house any earlier because my mom has to cook breakfast. theres no one else 2 cook the breakfast. anyways what can i use as a substitute?? newspaper?? but is that weird.

  1. Arrange some aluminum foil in it, that would be nice & shiny.


  2. Use the funny paper from the Sunday Paper.  I use the funnies to wrap gifts with sometimes.

  3. The comic section of the newspaper would be a cute substitution.

  4. any fabric scraps laying around?  if you have larger pieces those could work.  colored plastic shopping bags could work, just explain you're concerned about the environment and are doing your part to recycle if anyone comments.  >D  same thing with newspaper or sunday funnies if you decide to use them.  do you have any wrapping paper laying around?  you could use strips of that cut with pinking shears or decorative edged scissors if you have them and that could be really cute.

    if you're still stuck and haven't found anything and there's room in the bag, just close up the top, tape it shut, and add some pretty ribbon or a bow.
