Lets say i happened to hear or see a date somewhere. 1967 for example.

ill immediately try to count back how many years ago did that thing happen. (how old am i, when that thing happens or how old is that company etc.)

if i happened to hear a math sum like what is 16x15, ill have a strong urge to take out my calculator and find the answer.. if not ill feel kinda irritated.

im sure theres a term for this i cant remember. please do tell me the medical term or something and tell me more.

Thanks!~

  1. It's called Obsessive Compulsive Disorder indeed.  I think your doctor can help.

    LMAO Chris! You jerk! :-P

  2. it's called OCD

    {(785-641) x 5}/10

  3. OCD, obsessive compulsive Disorder. Many people have it in different ways, sometimes it's not diagnosed as OCD, instead they just say it's a tick... but you can pretty much find something like that about everyone.

  4. Of all the problems you could have, this is not a real bad one.  I do not know the name for this.  Skip the calculator and do that math in your head - it will be good for your brain.

When I am in a movie or some other event I count the rows, count the seats, see how many people are there and multiply the number of people by the admission fee to see how much money the show or event brought in.  It is almost an obsession, but pretty harmless overall.

  5. The term is obsessive compulsive disorder.
