  1. get drunk

  2. Best way is to close your eyes and think about your girlfriends arms wrapped around you.  It will make you feel safe.  I love you Mary :)

  3. Don't stop worrying.  That's natures way of keeping you alert and alive.  Make as many preparations for safety as possible and have a plan.  Tornados are dangerous and if they are predicted for your area you should worry to the extent that you are watchful and prepared to the extent that you can execute your plan for safety quickly.  Good luck.

  4. ROFL!  I've lived in the Kansas City area for almost 40 years.  We used to live out in the country, and we would watch tornados from our backyard.  I think you need to turn off the weather channel, and stop obsessing.

When a tornado is near, the city will turn on the weather sirens.  Go in the basement.  You will be fine (although you might miss a great show.  Mother Nature is at her finest when tornados are near.  Lightning, wind, odd colors in the sky...it's pretty cool!).

  5. If you live in Missouri, shouldn't you be used to the weather people ALWAYS expecting tornadoes?? Just a thought, as in my area (SW MO) we seem to be under watches and warnings every time it rains or thunders. Keep an eye on the sky, usually the sirens will be turned on if anything is happening in the area. I actually only know of one case where they didn't turn the sirens on (of course, that was the time it actually hit here in town.)

When they blow the sirens, get in your basement! Good luck, I am not so sure it's going to be as bad as they are expecting, at least I hope not!
