Help...i mean i really need it right now..?

can you break a vein or vessel in your eye?

if you do what should you do.

okay i was cleaning my face,then when i splashed and wiped my face with water,i saw a had a little bit of red lines on the side of my eye,and a red Little dot next to it.i used water and everything.what does this this mean?will it go away by itself?should i wake my mom?

please help,I'm kinda freaking out here.

  1. It's not unusual for a capillary in your eye to break.  If you are experiencing pain, blurry vision, headache or any other symptoms, wake your parents.

    Otherwise, it should clear up by tomorrow.


  2. It is absolutely fine and unless you put some kind of foreign body in your eye there shouldn't be a problem.

    and if your facial lotion had got in your eye - it is just the body's natural reaction.

    Just splash your eye with a lot of water (cold) and close your eyes.

    If there is any irritation after 20 min. call your mom.

  3. First of all, RELAX! =)

    I had something similar about a year ago and it freaked me out too! With mine, it was juts a blood vessel in my eye that popped and the doctor told me to just keep my eye cool if it stung (which it didn't really) and don't use too drastic eye movements... If it's not actually bleeding and you can still see properly, yshoulduld be fine.
