Help.!!! i need advice quickly. can anyone help?

im 17 years old and just lost my liscence meaning i cant find it. I dont want to let my parents know because they will freak out so is there any chance i could get it without them finding out.???? I know the place where i got my liscence and i could drive over there with an id and money. AND ABOUT HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE TO DUPLICATE ONE??

Just go to the secretary of state and pay the $20 to get it replaced. they will give u a temporary one until you get the new one in the mail. U may be able to do this without ur parents knowing. I guess you can try. Just bring a passport to prove that its you

In my state, all you need is a piece of mail with your current address on it, and a birth certificate or social security card.  

The Motor Vehicles keeps pictures on file, so they just look at the computer and know it's you.

I would still tell the parents.  I'm sure they have lost important things before.  I am a parent, and I have misplaced lots of things.  

They will understand.

Tell the parents, it'll be a lot better than them hearing about it from someone else.

go to the dmv.  couple of dollars and a few minutes.  maybe a couple hours waiting though.  call first.
