  1. uh.

We can't convince your dad for you.

You just need to show him you're ready for the responsibility.

  2. i know everyone says show responsibility but in my house it doesn't work. i had to beg for a hamster when i was in second grade i tried showing responsibility with no luck. i just got so mad i told them i really wanted one. they thought i would get bored with it, but after a lot of begging and annoying them they decided to let me get one and i've been getting hamsters for 8 years lol but now i  want a dog i'm very responisble with my dads dog adn my sisters dog. infact my sisters dog likes me more than her,  even though i love beagles i've always wanted a border collie of my own, and now i have a chance to get one that is free, but i'm not allowed. just showing you can handle it doesn't always work, but if you give your dad some time to think about it he might come around.

anyway i already told my mom when i turn 16 (one more year) i'm heading to the pound to buy my own dog lol

but like i said give him  some time to think it over, and if he still says no ask your mom if your mom says no complain to your grandparents...it works for me :]

  3. i had to convince my parents as well! all i did was set up the cage and everything and tell my parents "i need a guinea pig to go with the cage now" lol it worked!! of course i already had the cage and stuff tho cuz i had a guinea pig a cuple of months before that but it died from a sezier :(

  4. show him ur ready, do extra thing around the house, clean the place where u would put the cage, and try to have a good talk with him, without geting mad
