It's a wonderful, magical city on the water ... it has these cool little tiny streets and you can walk everywhere ... beautiful buildings, so easy to get around, and you could take the ferry out of the other islands of the lagoon for half nothing.

One thing I'll never forget, walking down by Santa Croce at night, the lights on the water, and on the front of the church a bunch of Germans had set up a tango party, they had the music and the wine and nibbles to one side, and they were really making the most of the amazing atmosphere of the place.

Everyone should experience Venice once in their lives. Especially as it will probably have to be abandoned over the next century ...

It`s the most romatic city.  Night rides in gondolas. Excellent food. Seeped in history. St. Marks Square is wonderful. The men are s**y. The views magnificent. No cars.  Heaven.!!!
