  1. I am sorry, I don;t know what job haunting means... are you a Ghostbuster or something? Because if so, maybe you should check out some local haunted houses or something to try to get some work.... Who ya gonna call?!? GHOSTBUSTERS...

  2. Try this:

Close your eyes and imagine your life as it is right now. See yourself a week from now and what you are doing, or not doing. What consequences does that bring with it. Now fast forward and imagine what it is like two months from now if you continue down this same path. How do you feel about yourself, your life? Now imagine two years into the future following this course. Where are you? What have you done with your life? How do you feel about it? What have you given up because of your choices? Now look ten years into the future. Where did your life go? Do you like what you let happen to you? You're an old lady now sitting in your rocking chair. You look back at your life and think about the choices that you made. Did you accomplish anything you wanted? Did you feel you made the most of the time you had? Do you have any regrets?

Now realize that all that hasn't happened yet, and let's look at this another way.

Imagine that you take action, and do some of the things that you've been putting off. A week from now, where are you and what has changed in your life? How do you feel about this? What doors have opened up for you as a result of doing this? Two months from now, where has all this led you? What have you accomplished? How does it make you feel knowing that you're moving your life in the direction that you choose? Two years from now, look at all you've accomplished! How much fuller does your life feel now? How many new friends and relationships have become available to you because of your actions? Ten years down the road; who would have thought all this was possible from just simple steps all those years earlier. Look at how your life is progressing and the things you're doing now. You're now an old women sitting in her rocking chair looking back on a full and exciting life. You reflect on all those special moments that made it so worthwhile. How do you feel?

Now go make a choice and pick one of those two paths...

People will do more to avoid pain than they will to get pleasure. The trick when you can't get motivated is learn to associate more pain with not doing what you need to than doing it. That's what the above exercise is designed to do. Use it when you need to remind yourself why you need to get up and go.

    Hope that helps.

  3. You need to speak to someone who is really interested in helping you.  Do you have a doctor or a social worker who can help you there?  What about someone from home you respect or admire?  You may be seriously suffering from physical depression.  Maybe you need to see a health professional first to find out what is going on.  Is your resume up to date?  If not, there are usually government organizations to help you update it and/or your skills so you will successfully find work.  Good luck girl!  Pick up the phone, there is always someone who cares and wants to help...give them a chance!

  4. It would much nicer if you hunt for a  job instead of haunting them.  I don't know what to tell you.  Just make a decision that TODAY I am going to find a job.  Take a shower, pick out something nice to wear, fix your hair, blah blah blah and open the door and do what you set out to do.

  5. Why did you move to another state? She is a good friend to let you stay there, but why are you leaving soon? If you help her with the bills she shouldn't put you out. I think you need motivation to just start all over again!
