about a little over a week and a half ago, a mom i know who has 2 kids asked for me and my friends number to see if one of us could babysit. she had originally called my friend up first to see if she was available because she lived closer to her house, which makes it easier for her because my friend cant drive. however, when she called my friend up, my friend decided to tell her to get me to do the job because she already had enough going on for the summer. so she (the chick im sittin for) has picked me and had me sit for her children about 4 times now.problem is they are quite and handful. i took a day off from sitting and talked to my friend, who had mentioned she loved taking care of devil children. i would luv if both of us could babysit the kids, but i would have to ask the chick TODAY if she would mind if we both did it (mind u i planned to b.sit tday). my question is, is this to short notice and to rude to be asking, esp. since she'd be picking both of us up? thanx 4 ur opion...

  1. If you explain the question maturely I am sure she will understand. Just tell her you were unaware what a big responsibility this would be, say you would be happy to continue helping her as long as you can get a little help. Everyone needs some help sometimes!

  2. Its never rude to ask if she wouldn't mind having you both babysit, you just might not get paid as much. The worst she can say is no.

  3. I think it would be fine to ask, just let her know as soon as you can and if she says 'no', be prepared to accept that.

Maybe you and your friend could meet at one house so she'd have less driving?

The other thing - don't expect two lots of pay!
