Help i need to start running more faster!?

im fit

i used to run 6-7 km a day

imma start again

but before i do

waht should i do to start runing faster?

  1. Ease back into it, then once you build up to the distance begin working on increasing your speed.  


  2. To increase your speed you should do plyometrics, hit the gym (doing the major lifts explosively  (military press, bench press, shoulder press, ect... ), hill running, speed workouts like 10x80m, 5x150m etc... and some reaction and "track drills", this will increase your top speed and acelaration dramatically.

  4. well, I'm actually a cross country runner, so i run about six or seven miles a day.

    The first important thing was sneakers. You need good sneakers. If you are going to be running that much, go to a running store and get fitted for sneakers. Trust me, they make a big difference.

    The second important thing is to drink a lot of water all day before you run, not just immediately before or after you run. Staying hydrated throughout the day helps prevent cramps. Another cramp preventer is bananas so if you don't eat bananas you should start having at least one a day.

    The third important thing is running thing is running with a buddy. FInd someone who is at your level, and run with each other. It keeps you motivated, stops you from taking breaks, and makes the run much more enjoyable.
