You could now give a few examples of what the purpose of some fuctional areas are in two of the companies.

I am going to open a francise either cadburys or sainsbury the head office is going to inform me.

For each of the business explored in above you are required to evaluate the extent to which the fuctional areas contrivute to the aims and objectives of the business.

Indentify the aims and objectives of cadbury and sainsburys.

If you are opening business via franchise why do you worry about this insignificant questions, its the franchisors duty to help you not burden you with all sorts silly questions.
