Help i want a hamster?

ok heres the story me and my mom just finished going to the pet shop. there was this little cute hamster my mom, aunt, auncle and mabie my sister agrees on the hamster but my dad says no. i know it takes alot of hard work but im responcible. so how can i convince my dad to let me keep the hamster?

How old are you? Just tell him you gotta learn responsibility sooner or later so let you have the hamster. Tell him to give you a chance and if he see you cant take care of it tell him he can take it away from you. Cant beat that.

start helping out around the house and ask him if you can prove that you are able to take care of a hamster if that doesn't work ask your mom to put in a good word for you.  BTW if you are a light sleeper don't put the hamster and a wheel in you room.

do some research on it and show your dad that you know a lot about them...start taking other responsibilities so he can see that you can take care of a hamster. just keep trying to cinvince him,

hehe i have many gerbils and i had to talk my mom into it he just douesant think that it is cool enoph but i love my gerbils more then my dog

     Well, firstly you could try a digital pet that you take care of to show you can take care of an animal.  

     You might want to just ask him, What do I need to do in order to get the hamster?

      If that doesn't work, show him how responsible you are, if he goes to throw something out, do it for him.  Clean a little more around the house.  

     School's starting soon, show him how good at it you are and how responsible you are.  

     If that still doesn't work go on line and find people with hamsters and get some statistics of how a hamster would make you happier, or better socially or whatever.  Good luck!! Hope you get it.  I love hamsters!

Do stuff without being asked around the house, earn some money to show that you can contribute to paying for some of your hamsters needs, and always volunteer.

Show them you're ready by helping, earning to pay for your share, and keeping up with work and such that needs to be done.

Just show them that you can do things on cue, that you don't need reminding and that you can handle one more responsibility.
