Question:

Help!! i want to lose weight?

Ok im likk 17 and i feel so not confident about my weight sometimes im not lik really big but i just want to lose about 10 lbs when i was yunger the best way for me was to starve myself but i just wan tto know what to drink, or should i do a low calorie diet or a low carbs PLZZZ help[

  1. starving youself is a bad idea all together

    it ruins your metablism,

    and can actually start making you gain wait

    just start excersizing

    burning more calories then you take in

    drink a lot of water

    and eat healthy

    oh.

    and portions.

    watch your portions!

    one of the biggest problems with people gaining weight

    is they eat more then the portions they are supposed to

    eating 4-6 SMALL meals a day

    is better for you then eating 3 big meals

    its keeps your metabloism going through out the day

    making it stronger

    which also means faster

    it also give you more energy through out the day

    which is good

    after you excersize

    eat something with protein

    it can help you tone up a little..

    good healthy foods to eat,

    (that actually taste good too)

    apples, with nuts,

    (cashews are my favortie, almonds, walnuts..)

    eating egg whites in  stead of eggs

    and mixing in green/red/yellow peppers,

    with maybe some candadian bacon

    turkey burgers, turkey bacon, etc..

    steamed veggies

    with some garlic instead of butter

    lol

    i dont mean to go on

    but mostly

    eat small healthy meals

    and excersize


  2. starvation ruins muscle and thats stupid!you must lose only FAT,not muscle.Need not worry Dear,you shoudnt lose more than 3 lbs per week.Change your lifestyle for life. Do cardio and toning exercises in moderation 5 days a week and calorie shift your meals by eating 5 small healthy meals a day,drink only water. 2 or 3 cheat meals a week is fine. In the process of losing body fat your weight might go up once in a while since the body may actually load on a pound or 2 of muscle mass in order to shed fat effectively.Remember that its OK to be overweight with lots of muscle(although its just not attractive)but NOT fat.God bless you

  5. I have created my own diet lately and it's working. I have lost about 30 pounds in about 3 to 4 months. The 1st month I didn't lose anything but now I am.

    I have cut out all fast foods, all junk foods (candy bars and chips, etc), all sweets, all sodas/ pops, all sodium. After the 1st 15 to 20 pounds is lost you start getting more energy so you do more. Since I have lost 30 pounds I am going none stop now. Before I couldn't hardly do anything.

    This diet like this is really helping. I am only trying to eat healthy food and that seems to be the trick. I am also only eating half of whatever I put on my plate. My stomach has really shrunk in the last 4 months. I am now wearing from a 22 down to a 18 now. About every 10 pounds is about a size.

    Now I did eat fast foods tonight and a candy bar yesterday, but remember I have done great for 3 to 4 months now, so I have my 1 to 2 days of a break. Then get straight back on it for the next 2 months.

    My focus is 1 month at a time. It's helping.

    Also I am finding out one other thing. Try to hold in your stomach more and more each day. It's a form of exercise but it will strengthen your stomach and as your stomach strengthen then your stomach will be flatter.

    Eat more yogurts, jello, oatmeal, stuff that has very low calories or no calories or sugar or sodium. Drink lots of water and teas.

    Remember you can allow yourself a freedom day or two once in a while, maybe once every month or two. If your serious about losing weight anyway. Also cut everything down in half each time you eat. There will be some days you will need to eat your whole plate because your hungry thats ok, just get back to cutting down as fast as you can.

    Every 10 pounds do more and more around the house or where ever you are during the day. Try doing stuff non stop about 3 days a week. Keep yourself as busy as you can.

    I don't like to exercise but I do like to keep myself very busy.

    I love to juice. That means to take carrots, apples, oranges and whatever else you like and juice them and drink it. It's totally healthy. Go to your library, online or go buy you some books on juicing.

    Last of all try to make everything yourself. By letting people outside your home fix foods for you, you are unaware of what is being put into your foods and how they are being handled.

    By preparing the meals yourself you know what is being put in your food, and you can enjoy the art of healthy cooking and eating. You can still bake oatmeal cookies and eat them. There are tons of healthy ways to bake and eat them. Just in moderation.


  6. The simple answer is to burn off more calories than you take in,it is so simple,try some exersize.

  7. Drink water in fasting. walk for 2 km after dinner.
