Help if u no any thing about cars?

Question

my 2002 alero wont turn over i put the key in it and no light in the car come on the only light i see is the serverice engine soon light but its very dim. what could this be and nothing works on the car

battery dead, battery cables need cleaning and tighten, or it also could be the starter, but iam leaning more to the battery. try and see if you can borrow a battery off someone, before you go and buy a new one.

i had this problem with my 2000 alero. I started off by getting a new battery, and it has 92000 miles on it and its almost done living life... ide suggest looking into a new car, these are not reliable at all!

first you remove the battery cables and scrape out the inside of them and replace and try again if it dont start get someone to jump it off and drive it to some place like autozone and have the charging system check  most places its free to have it check and then you will know if you need a batterty or a alterantor or might be the belt is old or dry or loose  been working on car 40 yrs

need a battery charge, get a battery or take the battery to a walmart or auto store for check

if ur inside, or headlights wont come on ur battery is dead

thats your battery guaranteed..just get someone to give you a boost and the alternator should keep the battery charged until you make it to the store to get a new one..good luck

First check the battery, second check the alternator and if that isn't it try checking the brain, unforturnately they have them and if it is out, you won't even get the car to start. without changing it.

Sounds like the battery is dead.  You can try charging the battery if you have a charger or buy a new one.  The people at the auto parts store will help you buy and change your battery. Good Luck.
