ok so im going to galway for my holidays and i was wondering if u knew anything good u can do there..????thats near salthill or galway city thanks

Yes, the Aran Islands are a great side trip.

Go down Shop Street and the pubs around Eyre Square.  There are a couple of good theaters in town, various festivals depending upon when you'll be there, and the Atherny Village is definitely worth a visit.

And don't forget to walk to town from Salthill along the promenade and kick the Spanish Wall when you get there.
