  1. haha, well shirell. I think you should make huge pop up letters that say, DADDY, I LOVE YOU! [just like our "commercial"]. LOTS of glitter and stuff too. & a sentimental message. That'll make him cry.

    OR

maybe you can make him laugh by putting some sort of joke thingy? IDK [: lols.

but anyways, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA WEAR FOR BANQUET?! are you gonna wear heels? makeup? lols. only way i can contact you @ the moment. Ill see you later.

  2. I always like it when everything is balanced.  If you want to draw everything lightly in pencil before you color or pen it.  That way  you can make sure that the words you want to stand out will.

If you want to add pictures think of what your dad likes.

  3. I once made my mom a huge collage of all my siblings and I for mother's day and she absolutely loved it. Oh and just an idea: make several smaller collages that make up a timeline. So the first collage would be filled with pictures from when you were itsy bitsy and the last collage would be of your most recent pictures. Then you could write "Look at the wonderful job you have done, Dad. I love you."

  4. I think you should go larger. get a blow torch and burn your message into the garage door. he will be way impressed.

P.S. have a hose ready while you do this so you don't burn your place down. and cursive works best.

message... If you love me as much as I love you dad you won't kill me.

    ha ha

  5. write in huge letters...."TO A DAD WHO DESERVES A SPECIAL DAY!"....i wrote that 2 my mom on mothers day

  6. here's a pop-up that's easy to make. you could make a huge pop out on the display board and have the actual card in the pigeon's mouth.

alternatively, you could simply fold the display board in half and cut two slits parallel to each other and perpendicular to the fold and push it outward. then, take another display board, make a creative cut out and mount it onto the popped out part of the card. ideas for a cut out include hearts, flowers, tvs, fishing poles, your face (not supposed to be an insult) or a shampoo bottle, if he truly is balding.

  7. Finger paints and hand prints. Use tons of glitter.

  8. Make a treasure hunt card! :)

A huge card with a map and a riddle on a scroll in the card. You could make the riddle and map on a piece of light brown/yellow paper, use tea to splash on it (tea stains) and then get a lighter and burn the edges of the paper. Then roll it up into a scroll and tie with ribbon or string. Attach to your big card. The big card could have photos, drawings, sand glued on. The map could have a little black dotted line leading to different places in your house which then ultimately leads to your present (as the treasure in your house). You could leave clues of what the next little gift is (chocolate gold coins, voucher, photos, whatever small things he likes).

Or you could get in the car with him and your map could lead him to a couple of places that are meaningful to you both or that he would love to help celebrate his birthday (ice cream, lead him to a restaurant where your family is waiting (surprise), the map leads him to a sporting match where you bought tickets, a picnic where your family is waiting to celebrate. Could be fun!

  9. put some memorable pictures with your dad and design it how you feel when your with him and get one from your things that he can put on his walllet that when he sees it he will remember you
