i got it pierced on wednesday and it was totally fine until yesterday.

like, the stud is about 1/3 cm long or something and the hook thingy is like an earring's, the small ones. so the stud sorta went IN and now its flat on my nose. it doesnt hurt or anything and its not red. but if i put my finger in my nose and push it up, i can see it come out and then theres like a hole/dent thingy on the original hole. and it bleeds a little.

i cant take it out yet. i put alcohol but i was told than makes it worse so i put warm salt water on it. and whenever i push it up and let go, it just goes back in.

help?? its kinda disgusting!

im going to claire's today since idk any piercing parlors here. but im hoping the piercers can help me there.

  1. just leave it in and let it heal. this is normal.

  2. that's normal, the skin around it has suffered a trauma- you had it pierced! firstly hun, stop pushing the stud in and playing with it- you are risking infection. clean it at least 3 times a day with salt rinse (boil sea salt in water and let it cool) and don't touch it. when you do clean it make sure your hands are clean and use disposable tissue like kitchen towel to clean it.

if after three weeks you are still worried go back to your pericer.

  3. that happened to me but it went normal after 2 weeks although mine never bled.

just in case go 2 claires and they will help you.

    good luck hun

  4. So are you saying that you did it yourself? Is the post just straight like an earring? You need cork s***w or even L shaped that they do have at claire's. Keep using the salt water. Not sure the ratio because I have a spray. You could buy bactine at the store but it sounds like the head of this is too small which will make it really tough to heal at the top of your nose because it is always up against it. Good Luck.
