  1. Assuming you have taken the advice to sign up with and search online registries given in answers to your last question; you could also get involved with this:

    http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fus...

I'm sure they can point you in the right direction too

  2. parents date of birth would help greatly...shall look again.....**2 hours later : I emailed you with what I saw, email me back if you wish.

  3. Try Births, Deaths and Marriages and go from there. Good luck :)

  4. I helped my sister find her son she put up for adoption over 40 years ago.  Its a tetious process but keep at it.  check out www.adoption.net.  If you email me directly at littlesisterkaren@verizon.net I will do a little digging in the spots I know of. I have no intention other than to help you find your family.  Good luck!

  5. Did you try googling their names?

    Did you try www.ADOPTION.COM?

Did you join a support group yet?

Try going into a website on genealogy.

Try to get into a website for Findley,

Ohio and see if they still live there.

I have used the Internet for all of stuff

on adoption and just take a chance.

    Good Luck to you.

  6. Have you requested the records that are available to you. Call whatever state you were born in (try where you'd get birth cirtificates) and ask for help there. It might be that they are looking for you as well and have already contacted them.

The long way around- get to http://www.anywho.com/ (its just a regular phone # search) and type in your dads name. You'll come up with a lot of names, but if you really want to find them, start calling down the list asking if they themselves adopted out a 5yo boy or know of family that did 22 years ago.

What I did for my DH- We contacted the state and got what info was available. Stuff was blacked out but we had a pic and knew her first name and the first letter of her last. We also knew that she went to HS in Bozeman MT, so I went to the HS library and looked up old annuals till I found her. I found her last name and started the second paragraph. I called all the people with that last name in the area and struck gold within a half hour.

Your probably in a bigger area than we are, but it worked for us. Givin time, it (in its own version) could work for you.
