  1. GET BUSY doing something else - go shopping, play a sport, go to the gym, clean a car.  I find diversion to be the best remedy and mind control

  2. Haha! I have the same problem.. I'm kind of obsessed with a celebrity. Not obsessed like you are, but in the way that I think he's the best guy I'll never meet and I won't be able to fall in love because I'll always compare other people to him.

Lately it hasn't been bad. Just let something else occupy your time and mind, whether it be another person, or something easy like watching TV (nothing with her in it!). Talk to your crush, read a book, play/watch some sports!

  3. I had the same problem. I would often get obsessed with people. What you need to do is get rid of everything that reminds you fo Sarah Silverman. Occupy yourself by jogging, riding your bike, writing, drawing, or whatever. Go hang out with your friends. Don't think about Sarah Silverman. AT ALL. and soon, slowly, you'll start thinking about her less and less. Good luck.

  4. You have already made the first step, realize you have a problem.

Take every thought captive, control your thoughts.

Reject the thoughts you know you shouldn't think and think about anything else.  That works.  Run away from anything that will make you think about that.
