Help im so confused? northern praying mantis kung fu 7 star style?

okay, i was studying what martial arts i want to take

and i came across northern praying mantis kung fu (7 star style, said to be the most hardest style to learn of praying mantis)

i need somebodies review on this martial arts

would it be effective in a street fight?

Many traditional kung fu arts such as praying mantis and other animal based systems have been getting modified in the recent years to adapt them into street situations or reality based self defense. It really comes down into how well you can apply it , your personal skills , your other styles experiences if you have train in others and several other factors. naturally as humans we are not used to emulate the movements of other animals and therefore is kind of hard to respond that way in a real desperate confrontation , so i would say that if your looking for street fight defenses , better get yourself some boxing , wrestling , mma , jujitsu , kickboxing/muay thai , this arts better go with the capabilities that naturally as humans we can perform , such as grabbing , punching and kicking. You can still do some forms of kung fu if you want for personal exercise, recreation, flexibility and muscle endurance.
