Help in accounting...budget report!?

I am trying to complete an accounting assignment. It has to do w/a factious company budget. I have successfully completed the forecasted and actual budget. Now I'm required to write a budget report..It's all on the spreadsheets! I've attempted to turn the paper in twice and have be told to resubmit. I included the revenues and explained why the forcasted amount is less than the actual. I don't know what they want!!! I've been told to contact a tutor. This is the last assignment to complete the class, I've never failed a paper, I don't need a tutor I need to know what's expected on the budget report! Help!!

  1. The link below is a link to a sample budget report. Scroll down & compared the worksheet reports in this book with yours. Unfortunately I can't provide you other than this one.

    A budget report should start at least with the budgeted line & column, followed by the actual cost then the variance in $ & %. Basically that's how it is. If there are items that required further explanation then provide a code next to the line (A,B,C etc.) then provide a brief narrative at the bottom of the worksheet.
