I'm a pretty experienced player (about 10 years) and am going into my senior year of high school and club ball. Anyway, I'm looking for a good soccer boot for a center mid that is ranged under or around $150. I'm mainly looking for a boot that can provide good touch, good striking, and then I would prefer a somewhat lightweight shoe but I understand you can't have everything. Thanks to everyone!

  1. choose the adidas predator. if its not your type then go for  either nike mercurial vapor fg or t90 laser. you will know when the boot is perfect.. i personaly recommend the f50.8 or f50.6

  2. May I recommend the Total 90 Strikes II?

They're not so expensive and they should help you in accuracy and good touching.

  3. Go to nikeid.com. You can custimize you own shoes!! Its awesome i bought mine from there. If all else fails get Adidas.

  4. If you don't need the latest boot styles, you can get last season's top level soccer cleats (the ones around $200) for well under 150. I would recommend something from Nike or Adidas. Adidas is more comfortable, but not as durable as most Nike shoes. It is also important to get Leather, not synthetics for durability and ball feel. The predator Absolutes (kangaroo leather), absolions (full grain leather; cheaper) and mercurial vapor 3's (shark skin or something) are all good boots for a midfielder. The firm ground versions are probably the ones you should consider.
