Help in putting movie into DVD-RW?!?

Hi...

I downloaded a movie-Scarface...it is around 688mb...

and i got a cd of 4.7gb...but when i put the movie in it...it says ....the movie is too big for the cd.....but then i saw the CD could play only 2hrs...but the movie is 2hrs and 45 mins....

can i compress it so i can play it on my DVD player(on the TV)...if so ..how..?

  1. theres a nice wee program called DVD Flick. It converts the video to MPEG-2 and then will burn it to the disk for you. It shoud help you out.

  2. you could compress it but you do lose some quality, i would tell you to remove the menus, also you need an iso mount program like daemon tools. dvddecrypter and dvdshrink are freeware so tha may be your choice my personal is one click dvd and dvd decrpyter along with daemon tools all are free except oneclick. by the way you mount your iso by right clicking the icon in your systray on the bottom right. other than that you can buy dvd rw 9 online and they can fit that file size



  3. If you want to burn videos or music on a disk, you can't simply copy them on the disc, or the DVD player will not play them. So, you need a DVD Author software, I have been using Cucusoft DVD/VCD/SVCD Creator Pro
