I was doing the experiment with dominoes where you have to find whether a shorter distance apart from each other makes them fall faster, and my experiment resulted in farther apart being better. When I did research to find a conclusion, many other sources suggested the opposite. How should this affect my paper? I don't have the materials to redo the experiment because they are in the classroom.

  1. What you do is you write your paper, and show your data and calculations and whatever else you used to come to the conclusion that you did, and explain why you came to that conclusion.  Then, you add a paragraph saying that other sources had a different outcome, and you discuss why you think you are getting different results than they are.
