1. I play softball and volleyball (sorry about basketball) and as a freshman, depending on where you live, you may have your own (freshmen) team for volleyball and basketball (probably not softball)... which is all about skills and learning about high school sports. The most important thing is you show good work ethic (try hard) and that you have potential as a player. For volleyball, you will probably do some passing drills, some hitting, and they may get into some basic athletic skills (such as quickness, endurance, readiness). For softball, they will be looking at your throwing form and distance, grounders, flyballs, hitting, and if you play a specialty position (pitcher, catcher) they will look at you there. Good luck...

  2. You're GOING TO BE IN highschool and tryout for all those Sports? Wow, Busy.be condifent.Im going to be in ms Im trying out for volleyball

  3. Just play your absolute best! And try to make friend with the other girls trying out. Have fun, but stay competitive, show that you can earn you place on the teams.!!! Good Luck!

  4. im only in middle school, but this year i did try out for volleyball and basketball and trust me its hard! but learn now because, well idk about you but when I try out for sports I usuallly don't get good at the sport untill the end of the try outs and that part doesn't count. warning volleyball is VERY addicting! but so much fun! soft ball I never did... but what I like to do is look up you tube videos or something of people playing softball. basketball you have to have a bit of agility (volleyball too) but there is 3 things that they tested me on for basket ball. dribbleing, shooting, and jumping while shooting.

volleyball the most important thing is bumping I can't really explain how to do that but look up videos and watch very carefully its not usually what you think.

another tip is make sure the coach notices you! thats very important I have got kicked off of a team for that and It's really annoying and still bugs me today. maybe go up to him/ her and ask them questions about how to do something. But also make sure they know your name cuz they mostly do it by a list

           good luck! hope this helpss

  5. ive played softball and volleyball throughout higschool, and softball at varsity level since i was a freshman ;) you need to be very responsive to what the coaches are telling you to do, if they tell you something constructive, execute it! they will be very impressed with you. go home and work on those things they tell you to. another thing; hustle, hustle, hustle! serious, if you are being lazy and not trying, they wont like that. always give 110 percent. start working out now! the better you become at these sports, the better you will do in tryouts! obviously. well good luck hun!

  6. well i play volleyball and softball.

SOFTBALL- for tryouts they will have you field balls. they will probably throw you a series of pop flies and grounders to see what your fielding ability is like. They will also pitch you a series of softballs for you to hit to see if you can hit the ball. they might if you are a pitcher try you for pitching a couple balls. also they might want to see how fast you run. so they will test that.

VOLLEYBALL- The coaches will probably ask you to bump the ball, set the ball, and spike or hit the ball over the net. They will also test you to see if you have good serving abilities: overhand and underhand.

    hope this helps

  7. practise running,if they see your fast your on the team, the best running exercise is for 20 seconds run as fast as u can after that walk for 10 seconds and continue this 5-8 times every 30 minutes
