  1. Well hazel I personally have experience similar things. Well like every other person I was a none believer of people contacting us after death. My kids father died going on 4 years in October. I have  dreams with him. In my dreams I reassure him that he is no longer alive. Its strange because we have conversations of what is going on in my life now. I think that sometimes we have  a great bound with those we love and that sometimes Even after death they remain in our our hearts and soul.

  2. Unless you have very strong proof to the contrary, I would say that this is almost certainly a dream and a way for you of coping with the grief of the passing of your father.  It must be a terrible thing to have to cope with.  Don't be afraid to talk about it heaps to real people.

    Hope this helps.

  3. This is your subconscious mind working on you, the dream is a reflection of what you believe to be your shortcomings when it came to your Father.  Make peace with yourself about whatever it is that was between your Father and then you will be a peace with him and the next time you dream about him calling you, he will be praising you.  That is the best thing to do, clean out the space in your heart that is the reason for this call (only you know what it is) and all will be at peace.  God Bless.

  4. I believe that it is the quilt that you are feeling because you were not really good to him. It may be a lesson in one respect though - be good to the ones that you love because you never know when they will be taken from you.

  5. its all in your mind.

dont worry about it, even if you guys didnt get along, he still loves you even though he's not here.

  6. No.  You probably have some pent up guilt about your relationship with him, which you're letting out while you're asleep.  You feel like he should hate you, so in your dreams he does.

  7. Remorse, conscience

this is a short answer but a 100%

  8. I am not sure but most dreams are just like mini movies in your head.they dont meen anything unless you are sidekik! My mum had the same thing but with her gran!so strange.

  9. I'm sorry, but there is no such thing as a message from the afterlife, or any afterlife for that matter. I, like many other answerers, find it very hard to believe any parent would truly hate their child. Your father is not trying to "tell you something"--he is, after all, incapable of saying anything anymore. The human brain is a fascinating thing, but dreams of telephone calls from your dead father doesn't mean that his ghost has unfinished business with you.

I'm "not good" with my own father, but I know he loves me no matter what. I think yours was probably the same way. What matters is that we remember the deceased as they would have liked to have been remembered. If my father were to be run over by a bus tomorrow, I know I'd be in deeply hurt. The grief is a part of life, and I know I would slowly but surely move on.

I'm no expert on dreams, or psychology, but the point is you must put any differences the two of you had while he was alive into the past. I'm sure it's what he would have wanted.

  10. no father hates their child, no matter what, your parents will love you unconditionally.

Your dream was probably a representation of how you "think" your father must feel. It's also a sign of guilt. The past is the past, let it go...and forgive yourself

  11. Sorry: I'm a skeptic: Forget the contact thing.

remember some old good memory: Make your peace as best you can, dismiss it & have sweet dreams.
