omg switzerland is burning!! i had 3 showers have ice cubes all over the place and an suffocating! how do u cool down in summer??

If you think it's hot in Switzerland right now, you should come to the US, especially Florida; or better yet - west Texas or Arizona. You'd be very happy to be back in Switzerland.

When the temps and the humidity both approach 100 here in southeast Louisiana USA, we go swimming! Dress as lightly as possible, try to block some of the sunlight from coming into your house. I'm assuming you don't have air conditioning. Even a small fan to circulate the air can help you stay cool. Also, a box fan placed in one open window, with some of your other windows open 4-6 inches inches, will draw a drafty breeze throughout your house.

Try using mirror tint its really cool it also prevents people looking in your home but you can see clearly out your window

If you install window tinting over double pane or triple pane windows you will void you glass warranty.  3M and a couple other companies will install their product and honor your window companies warranty in case you glass seal blows out.  The only problem is their tinting is almost the same price as new windows.

If you go with new windows look into triple pane windows with two layers of Low E film, it will block out almost 99% of the harmful UV rays and your home will be cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
