Help load windows faster???

Question

When i put in my password there is a delay before it actually gets into windows. Then when i'm logged in, it takes awhile for norton and zonealarm to load up. Is there any way to speed this up? I have a Laptop, Pentium 4, 2.8 Ghz, 1.25 GB of RAM.

Norton may be one of the best virus blockers and sytems out their but it still takes up soooo much d**n ram and uses so much f ing computer power that it slowed down my 4000$ computer

yeah, go to c drive and press disc clean up for starters.

After that has been done, do it again and this time click on the tools folder and click on fix errors and check off both boxes and let that go again.  That should help.
