Help! looking for a ma and pa bbq restaurant in houston?

my boss asked me for a good bbq 'mom and pop' restaurant in houston that serves BEEF ribs....i honestly had no clue because to me the best bbq is home prepared bbq. i came up with one called, 'the county line' does anyone know of any good bbq mom and pop restaurants that serve those?

  2. This place is the BEST!  I'm telling you.  I've taken many people there and they LOVE it.

  5. there is an AWESOME a few streets up from the Federal Building - sorry don't remember the name but I do remember I couldn't finish my plate and I'm a big guy...

  7. I've been going to County Line (mostly in Austin and San Antonio, but also a few times in Houston) since the 80s. Never had ribs there. Yes, they have beef ribs. I hear they're good. I prefer their brisket.
