Help looking for info on fred scott?

hello I'm looking for info on fre scott, he was born 12-1-1879 and passed 10/ 1968. any help would be greatly apprecated

I found Darlene Monona Scott living with her parents Fred W Scott and Hattie M Scott in both the 1920 and 1930 Census records living in Michigan.  Both censuses list that all three of them were born in Michigan.

What that means is that I'm not sure where the Iowa census (listed above by another user) comes in to this.  Fred's wife's name was Hattie not Ethel.

I just want to make sure you are chasing up the right family tree! :-)

I found many Fred Scotts but no obituaries or definitive matches.  It may help if you have a middle name or initial that you can provide, and his birthplace, if possible.  Sorry I couldn't find more, I looked on Ancestry and other sites!
