Help making a t-shirt?

Question

At my school it is tradition that the girls of the senior class make shirts that say "senior girls" and have the graduation year.

we plan on buying black shirts, and crimson, silver, and blue paint.

what type of paint should we use?

any cool ideas for methods?

any tips for preservation?

know any good sites i can use to springboard ideas?

I love maknig shirts!!! I suggest you stencil it, this is my favorite craft website ever and there are a ton of good ideas on here, plus great tutorials!

just go to a local printer and work with them, they will do a professional silk screen....or even an embroidery shop will do a wonderful job.

use the regular paints that u use to paint the house walls (it can't be removed from the t-shirt with washing) ..

ideas ... hmmm well I don't know what you should write ..

but I think that it is a must that u choose a logo .. i.e  a small drawing that define you ... or just something represents you ..

it doesn't have to be professional with arts to do it ...

and I think it is fun to do it yourself ... no need to go to a local printing house or something ..!!
