Help me! 5K!?!?

I really want to be able to run a full 5K without stopping by the end of summer but i have no idea how to get ready for it. My boyfriend is the one that runs with me but for 2 weeks i have to do it on my own and i'm too scared to run the loop that is 3.2 miles alone so for these next couple of weeks how can i get ready?!

  1. Train by running to where you are comfortable and running back. If you can't run the full 3.2 it is ok, but be ready to run the 3.2


  2. run the loop, at first just go as far as you can and don't worry about time, work your way to farther and farther each day and pretty soon you'll be able to run it all....then you can deal with time.

  3. Run 3-5 miles 5 days a week. Eventually you'll get used to this.
