Help me! I'm confused!! what should i do?

im confused. im interested in forensic science, but im not sure how to 'go' into that field.. i thought that i should do a M.B.B.S first, before majoring in forensics. am i right?? pls do tell me that im right..!!

  1. Depending on the job you're going for, the requirements vary. Some jobs, such as Crime Scene Technicians, require you to join the police force and obtain at least an associates degree. Others, such as working as a Criminalist in a lab (like the CSI people do on tv) require you to have a reputable BS in a science with lab work (biology, chemistry, or related), plus an MS in that science or in forensics. The vast majority of jobs in this field require a BS in science, plus the MS.

    There are BS programs in forensic science, but it seems like employers really prefer that you get your BS in a "real" science. You can do a minor in forensic science, if you'd like. And if you can swing it, it's be great if you could do an internship in forensic science, but an internship that involved lab work would also suffice.  


  2. you can do that. you can major in forensics at some schools or you can major in chemistry and do forensics. it's about the same.

  3. Most two year technical colleges have a forensic program. Well at least where I live.
