Help me! I've tried everything to record my TV (sylvania) to a DVD recorder (HDMI)?

i have all the cables to work with but i dono where to puit them or what to do with them

Hi Tyler,

I can't tell from your description exactly what outputs you have but if you are trying to use HDMI out of your DVD you must have a matching HDMI input in your TV.

If the jacks are Red White / Yellow they are composite. If they are Blue / Green / Red they are component. Your TV has to have matching inputs. Look at the back of your TV to see what is available and match them to the back of your DVD recorder.
