Help me!! I am looking for a quality camera.

Question

I am currently look for an up-to-date model of a digital camera. Canon brand is my preference. Cost is very much a factor. I am looking to spend approx. $150-200 dollars, but the cheaper the better. Where can I find a good camera with at least 6mega pixels, 4X optical zoom and any other good specs I may not be aware of...

Well I have a Poloroid and it is AWSOME, and it was like a 100-150 dollars!!

The all time winner bargain compact digital camera is the Canon 7.1 megapixel PowerShot SD1000 [not the IS] 7.1 with an added 2- gig memory card which when set in the manual mode for "Vivid" colors and videos at 30 fps in 320 dpi format provides killer images and videos. I had a cannon before, but I didnt like it much so i returned it and got mu current camera, an HP Photosmart R725. It's got a pretty big screen and it's overall a small, lightweight camera. It should be around your price range too.
