Help me!!!~~~ MAKEUP EMERGENCY

Question

i am leaving to go makeup shopping in an hour, and i dont know what to look for? WHat stuff do i need? Do i need a moisturizer? I am going into high school and getting all new makeup! Need a list!!!

MOST COUNTERS WILL be happy to advice you and try stuff on you for free .

but here is a must list:

assuming you already have a good facial wash. good day and night moisturizer.

a tinted moisturizer SPF 15 at least.

lip gloss

mascara brown for day and black for night

lip liner same color as your skin.

skip lipstick ,but if you must get a nice peachy color

if you want eyeshadow too, get a multiple one.

you could get a bronzer too.

Well honey u r done udont need more as i'm sure u are more of a beauty naturally

PS never use foundations at this age and never over do ur make up

Ask your mom to take you to a Mary Kay party, and they will tell you EVERYTHING you need, from moisturizers and scrubs to concealer and eye shadow.

here's what u need:

foundation or powder or both

eyeshadow (u should use browns for school)

eyeliner (pencil or liquid- for school i recommend the pencil)

lipgloss

mascara

moisturizer

face wash

makeup remover

                  -eye show with more than 1 color

                  -lip masck and the stuff u put on after that. it makes your lips really soft

1. A good cleanser made for your skin type (I reccoment Spectro Jel or Spectro Derm - you can get them for your skin type - if it doesn't lather don't worry, they are soap free and the lather is what dries out your skin so it's actually better)

2. Alcohol free toner to put on after you cleanse (alcohol free so it won't dry your skin out, Neutrogena Alcohol Free Toner is awesome)

3. A good moisturizer with SPF protection in it, at least SPF 15 - Neutrogena makes good ones)

4. Foundation to match your skin tone

5. Concealer to hide any flawed areas or blemishes - the liquid ones work better than the solid stick ones - they blend way easier

6. Pressed powder to put on your face to set the foundation and concealer

7. Light eye shadow if you want to wear it - nude tones are best, more natural I think

8. Light black or brown mascara - the more subtle shade the better, looks more natural and not so "wow she has makeup on" look

9. Lip conditioner and lipstick if you want

10. You can get eyeliner too if you want, but i find it more of a hassle than anything else

where are you going? Drugstore or a specialty store?

If you're going to a drugstore, I say get the basics, a light rose lipcolor

Some eyeshadows, HIP is really good for starters. So is NYX. Get a pallete from each of those brands.

moisturizer is good as well. IMO, moisturizing is way more important than anything else. It brightens your face up.

ALSO - you NEED mascara in black and a soft eyeliner - blue or black.

Get whatever mascara looks cool to you - all the drugstore stuff works pretty well. I can't say any of them are really horrible.

concealer for: under eyes and blemishes, a foundation + powder (in one--compact), blush, bronzer (optional), eyelinder, eyeshadow, mascara, lipgloss (optional). you can just buy some inexpensive moisturizer at the grocery store, so your makeup will settle well. that about covers the basics i think...have fun.

find out what your problem areas are and ask the lady what you need to fix it

if you have uneven or dull skintone get a foundation or tinted mousturizer and some blush

if you have dark circles or really bad redness get concealer

mostly everyone wheres mascara

if you think you look fine and just want to have fun just get eyeshadow and lip gloss or something
