Help me Please..?

I have finished B.tech in IT but i hear most of my frnds relatives and daily news saying that sotware Industry cracks down by 2009 r by 2010.So is that correct what i heard...? If yes what should i do..? Please will be online for ur replies..? i really need some replies to advice me for my career...Thank You

Don't worry, nothing of thatis going to happen !

If somebody predicts/says that the skies will fall down will you believe and go underground for rescue ?

First don't panick!

What you need to realize is this is all bla-bla!

Just look at the "wanted" in the job section of any decent newspaper, or jobsearch engine (since you're IT).

You will soon realize that many industries do need you if only to maintain their networks/website up and running.

IT dying is like saying internet will be gone by 2012..... Unless an "I am legend" type of scenario is going to occur any time soon, you are well protected.

Get out there and start knocking on doors, you'll see the future still needs IT

You have to be positive my friend. If there was no need for IT then they would not have offered to teach it. Plus IT will never be out of demand. In the meantime, educate yourself just in case you need to fall back on to another specialization. All in all I would not be that worried if I where you.
