Question

I used windex on my window because i was using window markers and they don't come off well. i set the bottle of windex on the window (wooden) ledge. Well i picked up the bottle and there is a BLACK ring around it. We just got new windows if my parents find out they will be so mad! please help me. i am 14 so something i can do please no " Well get the belt sander and blah blah blah"

Does your mom have Magic Eraser?  If so, try that.  If not, try toothpaste.  I've read about that removing Sharpie from wood.  If that doesn't work try soft scrub.  If you don't have that, you can try baking soda and a soft cloth.   Go easy, because of damaging the finish.  It really depends on the finish of the wood.

First, take some soap and a brillo pad and scrub it just not too hard or else it might make scratches on the wood. If you can get your hands on a permenant hair color that is similar to the wood and just let it bleach the wood to it's natural color.
